Recipe for Banania French Toast?

Hi!

I used to live in Carroll Gardens and *loved* their Raisin Bread French Toast. It must have involved a lot of butter as it had a crunchy crust to it and just tasted amazing.

Unfortunately, Banania is no longer around and I no longer live in the 'hood anyway. So I was hoping someone knew a recipe similar to how they made the magic.
