Best wine shop?

last trip to NO saw our guy Tab Benoit for New Years Eve at Mid City lanes really wanted to buy a great 1/2 bottle of cognac and share it with the man. Best wine store I know in NO is next to K Pauls no luck on the 1/2 bottle. We are back for just one day of Jazz Fest next Thursday and still looking r a place to buy that 1/2 bottle to share with Tab.

Try Martin's Wine Cellar on Magazine (or better yet, the one in Metairie if you have transportation) or the Wine Seller on Prytania.

In Mid-City, there's the Cork & Bottle at American Can Company. Not sure if they deal in half-bottles of cognac, however.
