Garden @ Eleven - Anyone been?
Has any fellow chowhound tried this new restaurnat? With ex-Perigee executive chef Pat Riley at the helm, the food 'SHOULD BE GOOD'. Can any one confirm? Do they have chef's tasting menus? How about price range? Thx!

re: Googs
From the looks of the menu, on the website, it is just setting up to be a neighboorhood spot. The prices are sure nowhere near Perigee. The cost of their highest main course is lower then the mid range appetizer I had last time I was at Perigee. As far as taking risks maybe their not trying to - it sure didn't seem to work out with Brad Moore. Who knows?

I posted a short review of lunch there a few days ago in this thread: http://www.chowhound.com/topics/511676
In short, it's certainly not Perigee, at least not yet -- but it's a lot cheaper. Full menus are on the website at http://eleventoronto.com
The chef change is official. Amy Pataki wrote about it in this week's star. ChefDB now lists Pat Riley as "Executive Chef" of The Garden @ Eleven, and Brad Moore as "Executive Chef Partner", though, which is slightly odd.
