No Japanese Butter

Very strange I went to two different supers in Tokyo and they had zero Japanese butter. Seems there is a milk shortage because of soaring feed costs. I wound up splashing out for some French butter. Not a serious problem, I just use it for toast, but kind of shocking, reminds me of the time there was no rice. Has Anyone else noticed this?

  1. Yes, it's been the talk of the town the past few weeks.

I heard it on the news, but I haven't noticed myself yet. I mostly use butter for my eggs every morning but that's about it.
