Online Asian Markets

Hi All,

For health reasons I’ve been house bound for the past month. I’m looking for good reliable online asian markets. I’ve found the below four, but have not used any yet. Any experience with these or others? We have some great asian markets here in SD, but I just can’t get out right now and I’m hurting for some asian food so I want to make my own. I can get the produce and meat from my local online market. All replies welcome. Mahalo!

  1. I'm not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for, but this place is terrific. http://www.kalustyans.com/default.asp . One note: I've only shopped at the store, I've never ordered from their online catalogue. Some of their stuff is more expensive but they also carry some hard to find items.

Wow, great site LNG. That's really an international market, which is just great. Just what I'm looking for because I expect to be down for a while and while I crave asian now, I'll be craving something else soon. Thank you.

    2. Uwajimaya in Seattle offers online stuff via amazon.com (another Seattle biz) http://www.uwajimaya.com I shop at the store all the time but can't offer any testimonials about their online goods or service.

My sister took us to Uwajimaya when we visited her in Seattle. What a great place!
