Gig Harbor Breakfast Options?

Have to visit the in laws in Gig Harbor this weekend and was wondering if anyone could suggest good breakfast options. As a second alternative, any place between Gig Harbor and SeaTac airport would also work.

Out of curiosity, where did you end up? In my experience, Gig Harbor (and Tacoma, with the exception of the places Leper mentioned) is somewhat lacking in good breakfast options.

Kelly's in downtown GH serves the best breakfast by far. A couple of outside tables, big crowds. Great food.

Gman, The Southern Kitchen in Tacoma at Sixth and Division is my first suggestion followed closely by Uncle Thurm's Soulfood (38th and G street). Both are true Chowhound destinations. If you're daring, I also suggest a big bowl of Menudo at El Compadre` (40th and McKinley). It's outstanding. If you try El Compadre` make sure they understand you are ordering Menudo as most Gringos have never tried this Mexican classic. (They don't speak English. The restaurant opens at 9:00 a.m.) If you must have a "normal" breakfast, check out Fife City Bar and Grill.
