Catfish Plus ? at Favori

What should I order at Favori aside from the catfish? I've already had the asparagus soup, the French onion soup and I didn't like the strips of pork tripe (I don't like tripe, someone else ordered it).

I thought about trying one of the hot pots, so if anyone has had one they liked, or any other dish, let me know.

The catfish is definitely the highlight at Favori, but nothing I've had there has been particularly bad.

Usually we'll get a catfish, the grilled beef salad(grilled beef with onions and herbs in a tangy lime sauce), and a hot pot(either the seafood or the mixed). Biggest problem is usually the lack of table space! In the past, they would bring out all the ingredients for the hot pot on a big plate and you could cook it yourself, but the last few times I've been there we've had so little table space that they brought the hot pots with all the fixin's already in the soup.

I don't think I've ever survived a meal there with enough room to try the flambe.

Bannana flambe it is then. I've had the beef salad, its cold with think sliced red onions and cilantro, right

Chateaubriand sounds maybe too much with the catfish, there's only going to be two of us.

Try the Chateaubriand. It's very good for the price, which is mind-blowing. I also like the five courses of beef.

banana flambe for dessert?

I don't think I've had anything that was particularly mind blowing at Favori besides the catfish and the flambe. I haven't had anything bad there either.
