Now that the Islamorada Fish Company has gone to chain hell I'm looking for a new source for stone crabs. Does any one have any solid recomendations?

Yum ! May I suggest Golden Rule Seafood at 17505 South Dixie Hwy . You can only see it if you are going south because South Dixie Hwy. "splits" right before it . The phone # is 305-235-0661 . Same owners since 1969. Lots of FRESH fish. You will see the local catch being delivered . The staff are outstanding , they always have time to answer questions and will do what it takes to make you happy. The place is not fancy, but it is full of local caught fish and produce . They do have a website and deliver nationwide. Also the mustard sauce is divine and you can actually tell the difference between the Large claws and the Medium . I have some free time if you want me to taste test : )
