I was wondering if you guys could help me out here. I'm coming in from Toronto for a few weeks to see some friends and I was wondering if and where I may be able to find two items.

- Kibbeh nayyeh (alternately called cig kofte in Turkish) - the raw kofta as seen in the following picture.

- Faludeh - the Persian vermicelli desert, preferably at a place that would serve it with the appropriate ice cream.

Thanks in advance.

Try calling Cafe Lili. They serve kibbeh nayyeh on Friday's, I think. The kibbeh nayyeh I know of (and love!) is made with meat, but they may serve something with kofta there as well.
