As the weather is getting (rapidly) much chillier, this may not be an option too much longer, except for those places that use those big heaters. I love outdoor seating for a meal and like these places: behind the Knight House in Doylestown-lovely setting on a nice evening and good food; porch/patio at Cross Culture a few doors down from this for really good Indian food; Martine's in New Hope on the river; Hamilton's Grill Room in Lambertville and the whole "porkyard" setting there (lights in the trees, etc. very lovely); Puck in Doylestown, though the food is so-so; and in Philly there are many and among my fav's would be Figs and The Bishops Collar in Fairmount. Hope these help and enjoy the fresh air!

Trax Cafe in Ambler has a oretty outdoor patio, lots of flowers, but the drawback is it is right along the train tracks (hence, the name) so it can get a bit loud!
If Skippack is not too far, Brasserie 73 has a really nice patio, good for people watching.
Athena in Glendside has a very casual outdoor patio (and yummy greek food).
I'm a big fan of Mamma D's in Pipersville and, even though I have always eaten inside, I recall seeing a really nice outdoor area.

A good choice is Zacharias in Worcester. They have an outdoor patio open for lunch and dinner. It is a really relaxed atmosphere and great dining. I was just there and they released their spring menu, it is great! They are also featuring organic specials from a local farm and a cheese plate from a local dairy. This is right up my alley. Check it out.

Great? We were there recently had had an awful experience. Our server ruined the evening, she was not attentive at all and we brought white wine and had to ask twice for a cooler and she still did not bring one! Finally the bus person brought us one when we asked. The food was average at best. We have taken that destination off our list!
