So another post got me to thinking about this. I've been wanting to try out this place, but haven't had a chance yet. Has anyone been?

"Happy Monday" is a great place to start.
They serve small plates of whatever was on the menu the week before at great prices, with discounted wines, too.

I live 3 blocks away from it and it's excellent though the set menu is limited so you have to like what's featured that week. But you can check it out beforehand on their website.
They have a Happy Hour Wine tasting on Mondays from 5 to 8 pm where they test out bites.

That Monday night tihng looks like a lot of fun. Does a person need to be there right when they open in order to get in? It looks pretty small.

It is really small but it's never been too crowded when I've been there. It's pretty quiet and low key. Never a line waiting outside.

The Monday thing is not wine tasting - it's just small bites from their most recent menu (which changes weekly). I've only been on Mondays, and I always arrive by 5:45 to guarantee a seat. Sometimes the place fills up by 6 or 6:30. They have 3 or small tables and one communal table for mixed parties so it can be quite fun meeting new people over dinner.

Went last night, we were a group of five. We simply ordered one of everything and seconds on a few dishes. Everything was really, really good. What a great way to start the week!
