Daniel Holzman, who was the former chef at SPQR coming to Chow-Lafayette

I am so looking forward to this additon to the CoCo county food scene (?)

  1. If it weren't such a hike, this news would make me want to go there. I really miss his influence at SPQR and you guys are lucky!

    1. Great news, the menu has been getting kinda tired......but still packs in a crowd every single night so this should only make it more popular.

      1. I view this with mixed blessings.
        In general the area demographic is UNadventurous, so the current menu is a pretty good match.
        A new and highly regarded chef could take this place from 'good food and good value' to another overpriced, trendy, and Short lived place.
        We'll see...

          Chow's formula is, to quote their Web site, "healthy, high quality comfort food at affordable prices." I doubt the owners of this mini-chain hired Holzman to make major changes to their proven formula.
