Brick Wall in Stuart

We did an "event" birthday here, last week. It was based on local recommendations and one discreet mention on this board. It was a straight "A". Excellent wine list, exotic, tasty, reasonable appetizers, and relentlessly high - quality ingredients. We had: crab cake -- all lump crab meat with just enough something tasty to bind the meat together. Best ever! - I used to keep my ketch on Chesapeake Bay. A "five cheese escargot, wherein the cheeses are the "plugs" that keep the wine-garlic butter sealed in the hollows of the serving dish. 14 oz strip(easily 18 oz) was perfectly aged, perfectly trimmed and perfectly prepared. The goat's cheese cheesecake was inspired. Service was friendly, knowledgeable, responsive. The young executive chef had his face in every presentation. Wow!
