casual italian in Las Vegas

DoctorQuality Apr 23, 2008 04:52 PM

I remember seeing, somewhere on this board, a small italian place that would be perfect for lunch. i've searched and searched and can't seem to find it. i remember looking at their website and remembering it was off the strip and had a list of pastas and a list of sauces and you just pair up whichever you'd like. it was very casual and i think it might have been a husband and wife venture, but i could be wrong on that. any help?

I don't think it's the place you are thinking of, but a family-run alternative off-strip is Pasta Shop: http://www.pastashop.com/

On the West Side I like Nora's on Flamingo & Jones. It's a family owned restaurant the the food is solidly good. I love their antipasto salad. Pasta Mia on Flamingo & Arville is also a good choice. If you're looking for an East Side restaurant a lot of people like the Pasta Shop on Trop & Eastern. I haven't been there but all the reviews I've seen have been favorable.
