kosher for passover rum extract/almond extract/whole cloves

any leads for kosher for passover rum extract/almond extract or whole cloves? I know it is late in the holiday but was wondering if anyone saw them?

According to the CRC, cloves don't need special hecksher for passover.

Powdered spices can contain flour as an anti-caking agent. Also, some powdered spices are sprayed with oils.

Clear that up with the good folks at the CRC, though I think they were referring to whole cloves, rather than ground cloves. I don't make decisions, I just link to other people's.

Almond extract is definitely available; I bought some this year. I also assume whole cloves are, but can't guarantee that, as I don't like cloves and don't generally use them or look for them. I do not recall seeing rum extract, though. As for whether any of this is still available, that depends totally on where you are and how overstocked the stores near you were to begin with.

I didn't know that whole cloves needed to be certified K for P. Powdered cloves would be an issue since starches could be added to them as filler. The extracts I can see needing a hechsher for Passover because they would use whatever industrial strength alcohol (probably grain-based) that is available.
