Please recommend a bakery in the Brentwood/West LA area

I'm hosting a baby shower in June at a restaurant in Brentwood and am looking for a bakery or baker that can create a custom cake (I have a picture of what I want). I can pick up the cake if it's nearby, or if they deliver, that's even better. My budget is up to about $3-4/slice.

Thanks in advance for the help!

You could try Susie Cakes in Brentwood. I'm not 100% sure they do custom designs but they do custom colors so it's worth calling to check. Their cakes are fabulous.

You may want to check out Jamaica's Cakes or Caprice Fine French Pastsries to see if they do custom design. Both make beautiful cakes.

I've tried all of the bakeries mentioned & prefer Angel Maid on Centinela in Mar Vista. Great cakes & prices.

I like Angel Maid. I would also recommend Paris Pastry.

Thanks so much for the suggestions, everyone! Susiecakes ended up not working out because they're not open on Sundays (when I need the cake) and they don't use fondant (which I need for the design I wanted to get). I decided to go with Vanilla Bake Shop and a red velvet. I sent my sister to both of the bakeries for a taste test, and she thought they were both wonderful!

                    Thanks again!
