Nacogdoches -- Auntie Pastas & Clear Springs
Coming to Nacogdoches for azaleas, history or shopping? Try these two side-by-side restaurants a few blocks from downtown:
Auntie Pastas is semi-Italian and good. Try the shrimp carbonara, mozzarella sticks and fried calamari. Portions are huge, so you can share a salad or entree very easily.
Next door is Clear Springs with Texas country food: chicken fried steak, fried catfish, and huge onion rings. More downhome than Auntie Pastas, in an equally historic building.
