Tallgrass Beef, anyone ever hear about this farm?

Organic beef, they say but would love to know if anyone has tried it yet?

Tallgrass Beef is a grass-fed and finished beef company. All cattle are born, raised, and processed in the US. It is a natural beef company meaning no growth hormones, fed antibiotics, or steroids. The beef has higher omega 3's, similar to the levels in salmon and is lower is saturated fat. Cooking wise you need to make sure you cook it at lower temperatures for a shorter time frame b/c of the lower saturated fat level. Tallgrass Beef can be found at all four locations of the Fairway market (fairwaymarket.com). The locations are in Manhattan (74th/Broadway), Harlem, Brooklyn, and Plainview. They sell various steaks, ground beef, hot dogs (all beef nitrate-nitrite free) and beef jerky.

The above link has a large list of grass-fed beef producers in NYS.

Tallgrass Beef Company is not a far, it is a company that produces grass fed/finished beef. They are head quartered out of Sedan, KS and were founded by Bill Kurtis (Cold Case Files, American Justice from A&E). He is from KS originally. The company has a consortium of producers that produce the beef according to a strict set of producer protocols. The beef has a hearty, robust flavor that is really rich. When I have eaten it (burgers, hot dogs, brats and strip steaks) the flavor is really great. You don't have to cook it as long either. Since it is grass fed/finished and has no chemicals, anti-biotics and hormones you don't have to worry about things like eColi. I cook it medium rare sometimes and love it. You can order on their website and things come packed in dry ice. Great beef, you will love it.
