Mill Valley Cheap/Ethnic

Tripeler Apr 22, 2008 10:35 PM

This may be a tall order, but four of us going to a concert on May 2 in Mill Valley are looking for an inexpensive place for the adventurous eater. My impression of Mill Valley is such that this is really a tall order. I heard about a cool Indian place in the general area that serves Pujabi Burritos, but have found no details. Small-country Asian, like Burmese or Cambodian, would be a plus.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
This is a tall order indeed. I am not crazy for Punjabi Burritos, and it's more of a takeout place anyway. Next door, however, is my favorite Mill Valley restaurant, Small Shed Flatbreads. It's very affordable; they serve a variety of delicious flat breads (aka thin crust pizzas) and salads. Not as dull as it sounds! Thep Lela in Strawberry Village offers pretty good Thai food if that's definitely what you want. (www.theplela.com.) But I'd go with Small Sheds and do my adventurous eating elsewhere.

Small Shed Flatbreads sounds great. I'll definitely keep this in mind next time I'm in Mill Valley.
