Kosher brunch?

  • 3

My usual Sunday brunch partner is keeping kosher for Passover. Any thoughts for a nice kosher brunch this weekend? Proximity to the Westside is appreciated.

Thanks all.

  1. all kosher restaurants will be closed for the last 2 days of passover. sorry! passover ends sunday night at sundown.

    1. You need to ask your brunch partner if he/she is strictly keeping kosher for passover (meaning everything needs to be specifically blessed for passover--in which case you are probably out of luck, as NYnowLA said) or if he/she is simply avoiding leavened foods/foods that break the rules (which is actually more common). If it is the latter, I would recommend Joe's for brunch (located in Venice; for a menu, see http://www.joesrestaurant.com/menu_br...). Your friend can have the fruit plate or salad for the first course, and several of the main courses involve eggs, fish, and potatoes, which are all fine if your friend is simply avoiding leavened foods and the like. But you definitely need to get more info from your friend.

      1. On Sunset at The Luxe Hotel in Brentwood is strictly kosher for passover for the week.
I would give them a call and see what they have planned for the weekend.
