Need Recipe for Waffle Trifle or Strata

Hi,

I just bought a bunch of delicious looking strawberries and decided I was going to make a Waffle Trifle, with the berries and some whipped cream. But I can't find a recipe. Anyone have an idea of how to accomplish this. I have dinner guests coming over tonight and I want to impress. Suggestions?

Just follow any trifle or strata recipe that uses pound cake with your waffles. It will be fine. You will lose the crispy outside though...

One idea is to make a yummy chocolate waffle and top with strawberries and whipped cream. Breakfast for dessert - the novelty is likely to impress and it is good. Serve with a coulis or a syrup too... floral or spice flavored for something different.
