Hey, all. I am getting married in October right near Union Square. The wedding is on a Sunday evening, and my parents are hoping to host a breakfast for out of town guests Monday morning. Any recommendations for a weekday breakfast place within walking distance of Union Square that has great food and can seat a crowd?

Depends on how much they'd like to spend...
Seasons at the Four Seasons has a great breakfast service. Vitrine at the St. Regis, does, as well. These tend to be the "power breakfast" spots near Union Sq. For more casual options, you can try Sears' Fine Foods, maybe?
Also, I have had wonderful breakfasts at Campton Place, but it's a touch small for a large group.

How large a crowd? As mentioned, what is the budget? I haven't read much good about Sears. Cafe de La Presse had a few favorable mentions recently. I've liked Campton Place quite a lot but it has been a few years since i've eaten there.

Probably around forty, trickling in and out open-house style. Nothing formal or over the top, we will have had that at my wedding the night before. Just a traditional breakfast with quality ingredients and a few healthier options
