Best Dark Chocolate (No Soy Letichin)

Where can I get the best dark chocolate in NYC with out soy as an emulsifier?

  1. Michel Cluizel's single-origin chocolates contain no lecithin, and are among the best dark chocolates to be found.

I buy bars at either the Cluizel shop in ABC Home, or at the Prince/Broadway Dean and Deluca.

    1. Zabars has quite a nice selection of dark chocolate bars near the register - they carry Cluizel, Amadei, Domori, etc. You'd have to check the individual wrappers to see if they have lecithin. You might also check out - the best selection of chocolate I've ever seen.

      1. I bought a large (1kg) bar of dark chocolate from Spain at Whole Foods in Columbus Circle. I'm sorry I can't remember the name but it was wrapped in brown paper and tied with twine, and it was fantastic. a little pricey, if I recall, but so much chocolate and such great quality!
