Any good ideas for moderate to moderate plus restaurants for next weekend? Any kind of food is fine.

You and your dining companions will love The Oakwood Cafe in downtown Raleigh. They only serve dinner on Friday & Saturday nights... lunch Monday - Friday.

Three of us did the Oakwood and enjoyed it very much. All had different things and all liked our choices. Thanks for the tip.

Bella Monica Italian Restaurant in Raleigh off of Edwards Mill Rd. Family owned with Wood fired Pizzas w/innovative toppings and bread both made from scratch along with homemade San Marzano tomato sauce. Also serve very traditional and seasonal dishes, like grilled artichokes with lemon and mint, and mozzarella di bufala with olive oil, basil, and tomatoes. Entrees don't get above $20 and it's easy to stay in the $10-$15 range.

Chatham Square in Cary has Udupi, a vegetarian restaurant that is moderately priced and absolutely delicious. That's where I'd dine, provided you like Indian. Suchi -- Hyperbadi Indian cuisine -- is pretty good, too.
