First time at Table Fifty-Two -- What to Eat

We will be in Chicago in May and FINALLY scored dinner rezzies at Table Fifty-Two. What are the "must order" dishes there? We don't want to miss anything great! Thanks in advance.

You can start with: Fried Green Tomato Napoleon with Goat Cheese, Local Greens, Apple Wood-Smoked Bacon and Olive and Sun-Dried Tomato Tapenades and then move on to Buttermilk Fried Chicken with Mashed Roasted Garlic-Yukon Gold Potatoes (yum,you!)

We have eaten there twice and enjoyed it alot. The Asian chicken entree (I don't remember what it is called), the catfish and the steak are all great entrees. The low country shrimp and grits and the pizza with duck are fantastic. I agree about the mac and cheese (the best I have ever eaten) and the hummingbird cake. Didn't care for the fried green tomatoes or the corn bread. Enjoy.

They had a stripped bass the night my wife and i were there and she had the risotto, both excellent. As was the tomato bisque/soup. The mac and cheese was great too.

The highlights were the mac and cheese side and the hummingbird cake. I was not that impressed with much else unfortunately.

I tend to agree. The fried green tomato app was really good. Hummingbird cake was good, but I wouldn't go back just for that.
