Monterey Palace at 1001 E Garvey Ave (just west of New Ave) has exceptionally delicious BBQ Pork, Duck and Goose, a bit more gourmet than Sam Woo, which is also a good choice. But, you must go early, they sell out every day and I have missed out several times by showing up past 6pm.
I would call them in advance 626-571-0888 if you plan to go after 6pm to make sure they have an adequate supply of your favorite BBQ. Also, parking can be a challenge some evenings and weekends--but if you want GREAT BBQ, it's worth the hassle!
