Best brunch in South Bay?
I'm visiting the Bay Area and having lunch w/two friends, one from SF and other from Santa Clara. I'm trying to find a good Sunday brunch option somewhere between the two, so no one has to drive too far. Any suggestions? A real bonus is if it is somewhere reasonably close to a pretty walk/nice hike, to work off a bit of the brunch afterwards.

For something super casual (under $10, no table service) try Sugar Butter Flour's Sunday brunch.
Here's my recent write-up:
Great brunch! I had the brioche French toast stuffed with cream cheese with orange marmalade and bacon. I asked for it light on the cream cheese and it was perfect. All for $8.95. The husband really liked his banana buttermilk pancakes topped with fresh fruit. His were also $8.95 but didn't come with bacon so I would think the price should be slightly lower. Free biscuits came with our breakfast and they were superb. This is my new favorite breakfast place in the South Bay.

Between SF and Santa Clara would mean mid-peninsula - Woodside, Menlo Park, Palo Alto area. Hobee's has a nice brunch in Town and Country Village, and you could drive over to Stanford and walk around there. Zibbibo is in downtown PA and has a slightly nicer ambiance. Il Fornaio in downtown PA is also good for brunch.
In Menlo Park, you could try Crepes Cafe - French galettes and nice eggs. Pretty casual atmosphere right next to the train tracks. Not a lot of hiking options but right next to Kepler's, a fabulous independent local bookstore.
In Woodside, you could always go to Buck's. It's a little overrated but has a wide menu selection and an eclectic decor. Although the Valley's movers and shakers won't be there on Sunday!-----
