If you are a carnivore and like a culinary adventure, it's hard to beat Fogo de Chao on La Cienega, the Brazilian all-you-can-eat steakhouse. The picana (ribeye) is their specialty, and is one of the most flavorful steaks I've ever had--be sure to try it first before you load up on every other cut of meat, since they bring them all to your table in no particular order. Be picky with the meats, enjoy the magnificent salad bar, leave a speck of room for dessert, and everyone will leave with a smile!

Grill on the Alley always does a good job, the service is excellent and offers a wide variety to accomodate most tastes.

Cut is amazing, especially as you already like Spago. A bit absurdly expensive, but everything's good, and the steak is great.

a step below cut and spago, but if you like wine, il pastaio is good clean cuisine with a nice wine list.

Ditto on Mako. Very good Asian small plates.
