St. Pete:
Ted Peters for smoked mullet
Red Mesa for SW - not the usual smothered in cheese, fresh & creative offerings
Gioia Italian Deli for the best eggplant parm sandwich. Everything else is great too!
Tampa:
Wrights Gourmet for great sandwiches
Las Margarita's for Cuban but skip the salad, it's not worth bothering with

Yes, it is always at the top of my "must eat" list when I'm in that area!
I was recently given a modest smoker and was speaking with my fish guy about mullet varieties this week. Hope to come up with a passable recipe to hold me over between trips!
