Amelia Island Eats

We're spending 5 nights on Amelia in May, would love to hear your favorites--any cuisine, any price point, breakfast lunch and dinner. Only restriction is that one of us is pescetarian: no meat, but seafood OK.

I used yo live on the island and I *highly* recommend Beech Street Grill.

Great food and a very large wine cellar.
I'd suggest making reservations. They get the "overflow"
from the Plantation and the Ritz.

Check out Barbara Jean's for wonderful crab cakes; if the weather is nice, get a table on the porch. We also had a very nice, although pricey, dinner at Verandah at the Amelia Island Plantation last November. And although I haven't been, I've heard good things about Le Clos, Beech Street Grille, and Cafe Kariba.

Highly recommend Barbara Jean's and definitely request an outside table on the porch. I've heard good things about Beech Street Grille but it's apparently very pricey.
