Ritz-Carlton for Mother's Day

  • 5

Has anyone been to the MD brunch at the Ritz? We are going with some people who prefer the buffet experience. Any comments or other ideas? We will go as far as southern NH. Thanks.

  1. From what I've heard, it hasn't been worth eating at the Ritz since the 90's. I'd try Boston Harbor Hotel.

    1. You won't go wrong at the Ritz, a bit pricey but worth it, and it should be a very pleasant atmosphere.

I would disagree about the Ritz. The only restaurant that they have open is Jer-Ne. It is nothing special more of a lounge than a restaurant and I would be surprised if they even had a Mother's Day brunch. You might be thinking about the Taj which used to be a Ritz.

      2. The hotel formerly know as the Ritz, at Arlington & Newbury is now "The Taj"
and I can't recall anybody talking about their food. I don't think that you or mom be be happy with brunch at The Ritz on Tremont ( if they have one... ). A few years ago, we took my mother-in-law & the family to Henrietta's Table at The Charles Hotel in Cambridge and had a very nice meal. I don't know if they still offer Mothers Day brunch?
