Sticky Toffee Pudding

wcab06 Apr 16, 2008 03:13 PM

I was at a friends house for dinner the other night, and for dessert she served an AMAZING Sticky toffee pudding. She got it from the Rose Tree Cottage in Pasadena - I went and got some for my self today , and it's soooo good.

SO, who else makes this amazing stuff in LA, who has the best?

Whole Foods often has it frozen from a local bakery. Incredible!

Ok, I know this is a chain, but the one at "Claim Jumper" wasn't half bad. I doubt it's the best though.

In OC, they have a good one at the Crowbar and Kitchen in Newport. Everything else is really good at this popular "gastro-pub".

In OC, it's The Olde Ship in Fullerton.

In Santa Monica (aka "London West") Melisse, quite possibly the best French restaurant in town, has what you're seeking:
