Papa's Pot - trailer on Jollyville

  • 3

I had noticed a new food trailer on Jollyville(near the Texaco across from Antonios) so I decided to stop in on my way back from the post office today. I asked for a recommendation and was steered toward the veggie wrap. It was a nice size wrap on a wheat tortilla. It had carrots, cucumbers, sprouts, tomatos, and hummus. It came with a small side salad of mixed greens with a strawberry vinaigrette. All in all, it was a pretty tasty lunch.

I picked up a menu. It has a fairly small selection of wraps, sandwiches, soup, and granola with yogurt. Says they do breakfast tacos from 6:30-10:30am. The guy working said a lot of the ingredient were local and organic that he bought at the farmers market.

  1. I saw it the other day, too. I will have to check it out. You don't often see those trailers around here. Has anyone else tried it?

      1. I visited Papa's Pot last Friday prior to playing a round of golf.

The breakfast taco's were delicious and the organic coffee was great.

I'll plan to try out their lunch menu.

I like to support the local owners.

        1. He's moved to 2222 & Parkcrest (a block off of Balcones), next to the Texaco at the split. He's on the 2222 side of the gas station under the live oak in the picture provided by Google maps:

Same hours: 7am to 2pm Monday through Friday and 9am to 2pm on Saturday. We've found that it's better to park in the lot of the cleaners next door by the dumpster rather than try and find a place to park in the Texaco's lot.
