Eats near Cipriani Hotel in Venice

Traveling to Venice soon and staying at the Cipriani Hotel. Any "not to be missed" places near there? Thanks!

You're staying on the island of Giudecca. Do you want off island, or walk to? I assume you are aware that the Cipriani has a boat that goes over to San Marco. The hotel itself has FORTUNY.and CIP'S CLUB.

On the island: ALTANELLA, Calle delle Erbe - RISTORANTE MISTRA, Giudecca 212a -

Thanks so much! All I know is that I am supposed to go over to the hotel's posted signage and wait for a little boat to come and get me. I am planning to eat at the hotel but would also like to get out and see the sights as well. Walking would be great since I am only staying a few extra days there to finish up a 2 week cruise around the Med and we all know how much eating happens on a boat! :)

Any suggestions for Florence or Barcelona?

If you're only in Barcelona as a cruise stop, I recommend 7 Portes at 7, passeig d'Isabel II. Upscale and good food. http://www.7puertas.com

If you have more time, El Cangrejo Loco at Port Olimpic - Moll de Gregal, 29-30. http://www.elcangrejoloco.com Great seafood.

Thanks! I am planning to bike the attractions and be back in time for a nice meal. I believe we stay at each port for quite awhile since all of the destinations are so close together.
