Do any of you CH's have an Aga stove. I am in the market to put in a new stove. I love the look of it but wanted to know your thoughts if you are actually using one.
Not me personally but a good friend has one. They turn it off in the summer because it is "always on." He has the traditional radiant one without gas burners - excellent for long and slow, but I would not attempt fast and hot (eg Asian) cooking on it. It also weighs a ton - make sure your floor can support it.
I personally would not get one...seems impractical.
