Any tips on where to find a great deep-dish pizza in Toronto?

I'd also love an answer to this question. Anyone?

Try Olympic 76 Pizza. I'm not sure if it's techically deep dish but it's one of the few pizzas outside of the chains that has a reasonable crust (no attempts towards thin crust here) and it's very good.

Is Olympic 76 take out only? If you can eat in, do they have beer?

It's definitely a sit-in place. I've never ordered alcohol there since I only go there for lunch (and no one I eat lunch with orders alcohol at lunch) but I'd be surprised if it's not liquor-licensed. They also have a patio that isn't half bad--since it's not right on Yonge. You could give them a call and ask: (416) 960-0092.

They do have beer (and wine), though not exactly a wide selection.

Pizziolo does a nice one called "The Sicilian". It's great when it's fresh. Like all their others, you can get it in slice form. It's worth trying but it might not be "the best".
