B-day dinner in Sydney with kid

We're new to Sydney and we're looking for a nice place (not too nice!) to have an adult birthday dinner where we can bring our 4 year old. Just to give you an idea, so far we have been to and loved the Sugaroom and Marigold Garden. We'd love to try a place like Tetsuyas or Aria, but don't think those are the best places to bring our kid. Thanks!

with a well mannered kid, get in early and you can't go wrong.
probably not somewhere too formal or with a set/degustation menu
