Me too, though I only bought 2 bunches. Would you mind posting on the HC board about how you cook them?

I certainly will, though I don't usually do anything fancy or complicated. One thing I am going to try is the recipe listed by monavano in this thread: (you have to scroll down a little bit). I'll sub mushrooms for the chicken since we're veg; but otherwise the ramps crepes sound awesome. Hopefully, if I start a ramps thread over there others will contribute their ideas as well.

    2. Fairway (74th St.) actually had ramps this a.m. Next to the mushrooms. They were unmarked, though, so I don't know how much they were charging for them.

..and Whole Foods 14th Street had them a few days ago for $14.99 a pound.

      2. They sell them at Chelsea Market - just bought some this weekend. $15.99 a pound. Delicious.

        1. all looking for ramps do check your ethnic grocery stores, esp. korean japanese and chinese. i was born in korea and we used get them all spring long and certainly not at 15/pound... also look into your local grow/forage group. it's coming- the season.

          1. I saw ramps at 3 vendors this past Saturday. 2 vendors were charging $3 and they were in coolers in perfect shape. The last guy had raggy looking ones for $2.50 out of a van
