St. Pete near Dali Museum for Lunch

Hi,

My boyfriend is a professor and will be taking a group of about 20 college students to the Museum next week and wants to take them to lunch after. He is looking for somewhere that they can walk to from the museum. It needs to be somewhere that can accommodate that amount of people and that is not too expensive. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

  1. Moon Under Water is an English style pub/curries/ which is very close to Dali - just down the block. Very good. However, it's on the small side, so you should call them to see if they can accommodate the group size you're talking about (727) 896-6160332 Beach Dr NE, St Petersburg

Moon Under Water is not walkable from the Dali.
Unfortunately, not much is, and it's not the best area crimewise.

I would suggest they get themselves to the St. Pete Pier at 2nd Avenue North on the water, and choose Cha Cha Coconuts, located on the top floor. They can accommodate a group, have outdoor dining and wonderful views. College students would feel right at home in the Bennigan's type atmosphere.

    2. Chattaway's Restaurant is about a mile down the street. They have plenty of outside seating and some of the best hamburgers in the area.
