Rehearsal Dinner in Richmond

pec23 Apr 14, 2008 05:22 PM

My brother is getting married in Richmond, Virginia, in June, and my wife and I would like to host a rehearsal dinner for about 20 people. We would like something delicious and elegant, without being snooty or oppressive. Neither my brother nor his fiance eat beef, though they do eat fish and seafood. Please help out this Chicago "hound" with your suggestions and recommendations.

The first place that comes to mind is Sensi downtown on Cary St. @ Tobacco Row. I do however recommend NOT getting the private room. The dining room is elegant enough (without being stuff) and a much nicer atmosphere from their private room. Lots of good seafood, veal and pasta. And they will help you with a variety of appetizers and the menu in general. There is also very convenient (free) parking. Their number is 804-648-3463.
