south bay farmers markets today?

i know it's a longshot, but anyone know of any farmers markets today? i live in redondo but am willing to go fairly far afield -- say about a half-hour.

Just an update to note that the Lawndale CFM has moved to Wednesday from 2 to 7pm. The organizers said that the former Friday AM time did not attract enough customers (I agree).
I was there yesterday and saw good food traffic and at least twelve vendor stands including Berthas Tamales.

Outside of the South Bay, Santa Monica and Hollywood are the 'big kahuna' CFMs definitely worth driving to.

thanks, DiveFan. can i ask how you google these sorts of things (if that's what you did)? i'd tried that before coming here, and i've also been looking for a flea market calendar for the area; do you do "los angeles" or "southern california," or do you have some other approach?

when i google farmers markets or flea markets or whatever this way, i often get really unchowhoundy results. (i'm defining chowhoundy as a certain ineffable high-quality thing.)

After discovering that some listings on farmernet.com were stale or pointed to 'more info' sites, I added most of these into the Place db.

For future reference don't forget the farm stand on Crenshaw by the Torrance airport. They have strawberries, zucchini, and add other items as the season progresses. I like supporting maybe the last remaining local farmer. Got to hit them fairly early as they sell out.
