Salt Lake City dinner

Hello! I'll be in SLC visiting family in a few months, and there will be one night where I'll be dining alone. Could someone recommend a nice, elegant restaurant for a single gal in her 30's? Maybe somewhere with jazz in the background, but not a clubby, trendy place. I won't have a car so it needs to be within walking or taxi distance of the Monaco Hotel.

I presume that means you are in the Hotel Monaco (great hotel btw!)? If so, the hotel's restaurant Bambara is great and would be fine for solo dining.

Thanks! :) If you want any advice on food in different price brackets or cuisine just let me know. Although I don't think you can beat Bambara for the food, location, atmosphere and service.
