The mac and cheese is quite good. I also enjoyed the lamb schnitzel though it it got a little soggy. I know my friend also really enjoyed the steak salad (huge portion) and the burger is apparently pretty good.

i had brunch here about 2 weeks ago for the first time. brunch is brunch but i didnt like the smith. it felt like pizzaria uno still.

the french toast was a bit heavy and undercooked and i just didnt like the vibe at all. the only redeeming quality was we had a booth.

Def try the mussels for dinner- great for an appetizer too.

Just went for brunch... the omlettes are really good, and big. A fun lively vibe for brunch or dinner.

Go for brunch and get the potato waffle with spinach and caramelized onion as well as the maple chicken sausage and eggs with spicy corn bread, white gravy, and home fries. Start with the hot potato chips with blue cheese fondue.

I recommend the gnocchi. My sister dragged me to the Smith just so she can have the gnocchi again. My take on the restaurant is that it is a very well constructed restaurant premise of making simple delicious food that is easy to produce by a cook of competent skill level. You won't get amazing mind boggling cuisine but you will get consistent well crafted food that is hard to screw up. Can't recommend the potato chip appetizer though because the cheese was drizzled on it. I would rather i dip it myself to avoid the chips getting soggy, and to control the amount of dip I got on my chip. Besides that i would recommend. The dessert was pretty good too if I recall.
