Flake in Venice on Rose?

I just noticed this new cafe on Rose Ave, west of Lincoln, in Venice. It's called Flake. Has anybody heard anything or eaten there?

My wife and I had lunch there a few days ago and it was delicious. She had a salad which she loved and I had a ham and cheese pannini- the best I've had since a little cafe in Rho, near Milano. Good cheese, good ham, good bread and a little Dijon mustard with just the right toasting from the pannini machine. A delightful find.

I just ate there last weekend for lunch. My salad was really good. I think it was called Chickie McGreens, or something clever like that. My husband had a grilled club sandwich that was excellent. I wish I'd ordered his! The staff was super friendly and I am sure I will go back.

Yeah, it's good. I live near there and go there a bunch. Cool people, comfortable atmosphere. I'm not big on cereal myself, but the general decor/attitude is good and they have good regular breakfast menu items - and I think they're starting lunch sandwiches. Casual. Recommended.

So I take it that they're serving lots of cereals... The name Flake seems to make that much more sense to me now. I'm a little slow on the uptake, apparently.
