Kosher Fresh Mozzrella?

It really does make a difference. Anybody know where do find some? Do any of the pizza shops use fresh mozzarella? I recall that Diamante (late of East 48th St.) did for a while, but the pizza guy said that the cheese went bad too quickly. So, they had to revert to the bagged stuff.

Avi Glatt in Brooklyn carries it. 2 locations Ave U & E 8th Street and Quintin Rd & E 9th Street.

    Benny's Brick Oven uses it (ave M & E 18th)

Thanks all. Yes, Cappiello's is better than, say, Miller's shredded mozzarella. However, I am talking about really fresh-made mozzarella. Does any pizza shop make their own?

You should try U Cafe. They have it on the menu, maybe they will sell you some, or tell you where they get it.

As an aside, do you happen to know how much Benny's is charging for pizza this day and age?

If you don't mind ordering on line, or if you're planning a road trip to Schenectady, NY, you can find Kosher Mozzarella here:
