Best crabcakes ever......

This is not the typical breaded and deep fried kind. This was one of the meatiest crab cakes I've had. Really divine. Sofitel Philadelphia - Lounge. haven't found another one like it.

Any other suggestions?

The best ever, IMHO, are those at the Farmhouse Restaurant in Avondale, PA. Not fried, jumbo crab, fresh and tasty, and bound together with a slight shrimp mousse, served with a light mustard sauce--the BEST!

Haven't been there in a while, but Jake's in Manayunk has always served one of the best crab cakes in the area.

I second Farmhouse Restaurant. It is located at Loch Nairn Golf club. Good rack of lamb too.

Definitely The Farmhouse in Avondale for crabcakes. You can order them as a meal or add a crabcake to whatever you order. And yes the rack of lamb is incredible and their oyster stew.
