NW Indiana Dining

We are so lucky to have such a diversity of cultures in NW Indiana. I thought I would list a few of my favorite places.

Wagoners Ribs in Porter, Indiana...simply the best.

Tiebels Restaurant in Schererville, IN Lake Perch that makes you return again and again.

Aureloi's Pizza, several locations. A pizza that makes you wonder why you even try others.

Warsaw Inn located a bit West on Route 30. (Actually in IL) The best polish smorgasboard...yummm.

Lucrezias in Crown Point a great Italian experience.

I would love to hear your favorites. Thanks and here's to good eating and sharing.

We're very fond of Aladdin Pita in Merrillville. We've tried many items on the menu, and have enjoyed it all. The lentil soup is delicious! Very reasonable prices, too. There's a little middle eastern grocery attached, and you can buy their fresh made pita.

We also enjoy Dish and Don Quixote in Valpo.

And Santiago's in Porter is easily as good as Nuevo Leon in Chicago.
