I am going to Napa for my 30 year wedding anniversary and want a memorable meal. I have dined at French Laundry once before and remember it was expensive, long but quite good. Tra Vigne has ambience and good Italian. What would everyone recommend here? Or is there someplace else that I am missing?

You are missing a whole lot of places. Tra Vigne was at its hey-dey 20 years ago when Michael Chiarello was at the helm -- it is now barely a shadow of its former self and not a very pleasant one. Stay away at all costs.

The French Laundry is still *the* dining place in the Napa Valley and VERY expensive but reports from Meadowood for high-end, special occasions come through as well.

You are going to hear great reports about Ubuntu, but I'm not sure if it is 30th Anniversary ambient-worthy.

If you do a search for Napa and anniversary, you'll find many recommendations. Cyrus gets mentioned a lot but I haven't been. FL very expensive and if you've been before, that's a factor.
