help with matcha

I love this stuff....but i am new to making it and can't seem to successfully get it done without having a bunch of lumps in there towards the end. I've whisked, tried to squish the lumps out with a spoon and even used one of those little battery operated milk foamers to no avail....

what am i doing wrong?

Are you using a bamboo matcha whisk?

sadly no......not sure i've ever seen one around these parts....had a pretty hard time finding the matcha to begin with !! Time to check e-bay perhaps...unless a regular kitchen tool might suffice?
