Recs w/in walking distance to Burbank Marriott?

I'm going to be at the Burbank Marriott for several days in a couple of weeks, but without a car. Is there anything at all within walking distance, or am I consigned to hotel food or fast food?

Thanks in advance.

There are tqwo Marriotts, one by the Airport and one by the Empire center (Courtyard Marriott IIRC)

If you're near Empire Center, it's fast food/chain apalooza.]
If you're near Airport, only slighhhhtly better...

Chez Burger is right there, and its not bad. Not great, but not bad. All made to order and hot and giant portions.

You're not thhhhat far from Eat 'n' Park which is good for a dinery All American breakfast (and cheap!).

    EAT N PARK
    2517 W Victory Blvd
    Burbank, CA, 91505

AVOID Submarine Queen down the block (urgh. indigestion!)

    La Maria is walkable.
Heavy columbian/South American food. Had good tamales and some awesome bowl of steak soup I don't know the name of.

    Costa Azul is near(ish)
I've had okay Chile Rellenos there and an AWESOME carnitas burrito.

La Maria's a mile and a half walk each way on large pedestrian-unfriendly streets.

Eat N Park -- the most indigestible "omelette" in Burbank, it's a dozen eggs and a pound of greasy meat cooked until it's brown. Revolting! Dad's Donuts next door is a better option but again, easily a mile plus walk each way.

Costa Azul's a half mile walk each way.

I don't think a mile and a half is unwalkable. and most of LA is pedestrian unfriendly! ;-)

Eat N Park, you may be right about the omelette, never touched any of their egg dishes and the burger i had was GREASY - but not bad.

Breakfast wise the French Toast and hash brows are pretty tastey.

I dunno... it was up around 100 F today. A mile and a half each way -- wow.

I'll be at the airport Marriott. La Maria sounds like a good possibility. Is Costa Azul on the corner of Buena Vista and Empire?

Honestly, you might want to just take a cab. There is stuff nearby, and it wouldn't be TOO expensive a cab ride.

The hotel restaurant is the Daily Grill and Costa Azul Mariscos is at the corner of Empire and Buena Vista about a half mile away. That's it.
